Encircled In Nature

I am loving the selection of products released in this months Online Exclusives.  This amazing bundle is one of them.  The Encircled In Nature Bundle is gorgeous and has lots of elements that make it easy to make a stunning card. I used the dies to create a window in my card and I stamped the greeting in the window.  Outside of the window, I have this stunning wreath made from other pieces of the bundle.

I used Stampin' Blends to color my flowers, colors are listed below in the supply list.  For the center of the flowers I used a combination of Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie to get that yellowy-orange.  So pretty!  I finished the card with some Glossy Dots and Linen Thread.  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Incredible Twist Fun Fold

I have another fun fold twist card to share.  I really love this fun fold.  It's easy to make and it packs a huge wow factor!  I'm using some new Online Exclusive products for this card.  Currently, as I type this, the Happy Little Things Bundle that I used isn't available.  The dies are currently out of stock.  But they should be back in stock by the end of the month.  So check back in my Online Store the week of March 25.

This fun card starts in a horizontal orientation but as you open it, it twists to a portrait orientation.  I made a version of this card in 2022, you can check it out here.

I used the stamp set on the outside as well as the inside.  I love the greetings in the Happy Little Things Bundle.  I love especially that they include block and script greetings and how well they all coordinate with each other.  I heat embossed part of my outside greeting in white embossing powder.  Currently Stampin' Up! is switching suppliers for the embossing powder so we have a gap of time where we don't carry white embossing powder.  Watch for it to come back later this year.

The card base has a diagonal line in the front and you adhere your panel to that folded piece.  My front panel is a 4 1/4" square.  I'm also using some new DSP in the Online Exclusives, the Flowering Zinnias DSP is GORGEOUS!!  I have two pieces of that one at 4" x 4" and one at 4" x 1".

Use this diagram for scoring your card base.  I hope you make this card soon!  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.

Easter Bunny Friend Small DSP Pinched Top Bag-VIDEO

I have one last Easter treat to share with you this season, though this box doesn't have to be for Easter, the greeting is pretty general for a friend.  I hope that if you don't already have the Easter Bunny Set this is one that you'll consider.  This sweet DSP bag is soooo cute and soooo simple!  I have a chocolate bunny in my bag from See's Chocolates.  Now, I know that this isn't a store that is in everyone's area and I know that they're kind of pricy...but they're sooooooooo good!  If you don't want to use a See's bunny you can find a similar sized chocolate bunny in your store that would fit.  My chocolate bunny measures about 1 3/4" wide, 4" tall and 5/8" thick.  I'm sure that local stores would carry similar sized ones.  Or you can fit lots of other goodies in here!

My bag base is made with DSP, I'm using the Lighter Than Air pack from the Mini.  The subtle color patterns in this package are very spring and Easter themed.  The top is simply pinched closed and held closed with some ribbon.  You could also use a fun clip or clothespin to keep it closed.

If you have lots of DSP around, especially 6" x 6" DSP this is a great way to use it.  I love using DSP for bags and boxes.  Be careful when scoring it however. DSP is thinner than cardstock and may tear easier if you have a heavy hand when scoring.

Lighter Than Air DSP 5 1/2" x 6"
On the short side score at 1/2", 2 1/4", 3" and 4 3/4"

Mini Reese's Bunnies Easter Box-VIDEO

Today is the first day of two days of adorable Easter treats.  Easter is just around the corner, if you haven't started on Easter treats yet what are you waiting for? This one is tiny and adorable and it only take about a quarter sheet of cardstock so you can make four per sheet.  That's a bunch of treats!  There is some fussy cutting, sorry!  The eggs and greeting are fussy cut, if that's not your jam substitute it for something else!  Especially if you're making a bunch of these.

I'm using the Easter Bunny Set in the Annual Catalog.  This is one of my favorite Easter sets and it's been my go to for Easter this year.  I've already shared this project a few weeks ago with this set and tomorrow my treat also features this set.  It's a great one to have in your stash! I used Stampin' Blends to color my eggs.  I love the pops of Gorgeous Grape with Daffodil Delight.  It really makes this box stand out! You can see how small this box is in my hand.  So cute!

March In Person Class Fun Fold Fiesta!

I had my March in person class over the weekend and this class focused on fun fold cards.  Fun Folds are probably my favorite kind of card to make.  I *tried* to keep these cards as simple fun folds and I think I successfully accomplished that.  Fun Folds don't have to be complicated.  I don't have measurements or supplies listed for the cards, that's a perk for my in person guests.  If you're local in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area and want to attend an in person class please contact me.

The first is the classic bridge fold.  This card will fold flat to mail but stand up to display.  I love the Easter Lily Bundle and it was perfect for this card.

Next up is a take on a z-fold card.  I call this a z-fold flap card.  It's like a mini card on a card.  So cute! I used the Delightfully Eclectic DSP for a pop of black and white.

stampin up

The Darling Details Bundle in the Annual Catalog was the perfect addition to the bold black and white print.

The Ice Cream Swirl Bundle from the Mini Catalog is soooo cute!  I haven't had nearly enough time to play with this one. It's perfect for an easel card.  I love the pinks!

stampin up

I used the Reach For The Stars Bundle from the Annual Catalog for this amazing double z-fold card.  The Stargazing DSP is the perfect addition!  I love the stars on this card, die cut from the Holographic Paper!

stampin up

Finally, the last card is a fun fold twist.  It starts as a horizontal landscape card but as you open it....

stampin up

...it twists and turns into a portrait card.  It's such a fun card.  I used the Filled With Happiness Set from the Mini and pulled in more black and white patterns, this time from the Zoo Crew DSP.  I did a variation on this card way back in 2022, you can check that out here. I also have another card to share this Friday using this same fold.  Check my blog then!

Comforting Thoughts and Daisies

Sometimes our friends and family need some extra love.  Sometimes they're going through challenging times and we don't always have the words to help.  The new Comforting Thoughts Set in the Online Exclusive Launch is the perfect set to send a little love.  This set is full of incredible greetings for those times you don't have the perfect words.

stampin up, comforting thoughts

This card I used the Fresh As A Daisy DSP in the Annual Catalog along with some of the rich earth tones of the 2023-2025 In Colors.  I'm using Copper Clay and Wild Wheat. The DSP coordinated perfectly with these colors.  Our color coordination is one of my favorite things about Stampin' Up!  I know that the DSP will match the cardstock, the ribbon and the embellishments perfectly.

stampin up, comforting thoughts

Because Copper Clay is my card base and it's a darker color I used a piece of Basic White to line the inside of my card.

Pets and More Bunny Milk Carton Style Box-VIDEO

Since the Online Exclusives launched yesterday I thought I'd share a cute box featuring a new Online Exclusive Stamp Set.  This would make an adorable Easter treat!  In fact in my box I have some York Peppermint Patties in their spring wrappers.  This fun milk carton style box is adorable and easier than you might think.  There are some important score lines and steps so make sure you watch the video to get all the details.  The new Pets and More Set is adorable and features the cutest little animals.  This is a reversable set so that means you can use both sides of the stamp to create your image.

stampin up, pets and more

I paired it up with the Inked Botanicals DSP from the Annual Catalog.  This DSP has some great patterns but this Crushed Curry polka Dot was the perfect back drop.  I used the Sending Love Dies in the Mini Catalog to make a grassy border.  The entire box is finisihed with some Loose Daisy Embellishments and a bow tied with the Pecan Pie Center Stripe Ribbon.

Make your own.

Crushed Curry 5" x 6 1/2"
On the short side score at 1", 3 3/4" and 4 1/2"
On the long side (with the 1/2" score line across the top) score at 2", 3", 5" and 6" then score at 2 1/2" and 5 1/2" but stopping at the 1/2" score line
Use the 2 1/2" and 5 1/2" score lines for your guides for your diagonal score lines.  Score from the bottom of the mark diagonally left and right to the intersection of the next horizontal score line.  You should make a triangle in the square below the 2 1/2" and 5 1/2" score lines.  See video for details.

DSP 1 3/4" x 2 1/2 and 1 3/4" x 1/2"

Garden Green and Very Vanilla scraps for stamping and die cutting
